Shared Antigens of Parasitic Nematodes and Host Plants

Abstract

ANTIGENS which metazoan parasites share with their warm blooded hosts have been known for many years. Examples of other “common antigens” can also be found among the viruses, protozoa, bacteria and their respective hosts. The occurrence and significance of this phenomenon has been the subject of a comprehensive review1.
